Vehicle owners breathed a sigh of relief as the Central government decided not to collect toll tax at plazas on highways till December 1. In view of demonetisation of high value currency notes, collection of toll taxes was halted till November 24 and extended it up to December 1.

There are six toll plazas in Telangana state on Hyderabad-Nagpur route on National Highway 44. The people of Medak, Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts regularly travel on this highway. In addition, north and south Indian connectivity vehicles, Maharashtra vehicles are also pass through this route.

In view of exchange of money, the vehicle owners suffered a lot at toll plazas and vehicles traffic jammed in long queues Toll plazas opened gates freely at Bhik oor and Toopran plazas, whereas the authorities at Indalwai are collecting the information of vehicles, while travelling.
