Bed Capacity Up In State Hospital

The capacity of the government general hospital in Nizamabad has been increased from 500 beds to 750 beds. As a result, super speciality medical services like cardiology, neurosurgery, gastroenterology and urology will be provided to patients. Zilla parishad chairman and hospital development committee chairman D. Raju initiated upgradation of the hospital. Hospital superintendent Dr L. Ramulu said that additional units and posts will be sanctioned for the hospital. Following an increase in patients, the government had taken a decision to upgrade the hospital, he said.
