Heat Wave Warning For North Telangana

The Ind Meteorological Department has issued heat wave and thunderstorm warning in north Telangana districts for next 48 hours, Officials issued the warning in view of the intense heat in undivided Nizamabad, Adilabad and Karimnagar districts.

IMD and Telangana state development and planning society advised people not to go outside during daytime. Sunstroke deaths have already been reported in several parts of north Telangana. The main and arterial roads witnessed a deserted look. Officials in Nizamabad and Kamareddy districts campaigned about sun stroke and suggested people to postpone their chores during daytime. Heatwave followed by thunderstorms are worrying the farming community. Farmers are reluctant to visit their agriculture fields to harvest the paddy. Schools and colleges have already declared summer holidays in the state.
